‘bout Joe Kallinger, his little bitty bird
Man was a shoemaker
Turned into a life-taker
Joe with a pair of pliers
High-rolling, he's a-fliers
God told him to kill you all
Make this earth a dead round ball
Him and his young one
Killed Joe's other son
Broke up another boy
Like he was an old toy
Thought a gal too picky
She wouldn't bite off a dicky!
That's why Joe slashed her up
His knife went chopetychopchop
Now he's in the nut-hatch
Still fixing up a shoe-batch
Trying to be a poet
Wants the world to know it
And that's the story of Joe
